From the time that I walked into the Porcelain Gallery at the RISD Museum, I was immediately interested in the history of the space. After researching my intuition at the Fleet Library Archives I found that the Porcelain Galler was the original connection between Pendelton house which was built in 1906, to the RISD Museum. I also found that over the years the Circulation of the Porcelain Gallery altered alightly based off of what was displayed within the room. I found that there were a total of 7 alterations in circulation from 1906 to 2014. The circulation of the displays over the years became my inspiration for creating a new exhibition space.
